The TiqAssist commission varies based on the resale value of the season ticket package. You can see the TiqAssist commission rate after we price your season, by selecting any game in your account. Third-party selling fees are 9.9%. Most of our clients make as much as selling on their own, without any of the work. More details below:

TiqAssist supports the resale of most single-event tickets for season ticket sellers registered and approved with TiqAssist. You may submit your single-event tickets through the “Account” tab of your TiqAssist Dashboard. If we support the event, we will alert you when the event is in your dashboard and available to be listed.

There are three simple and secure ways for TiqAssist to access your listed tickets and transfer to the buyer.

Tickets Are in the Season Ticket Account (Default Method)With this option, your tickets remain in your team’s season ticket account until they sell. During your first listing, you simply enter your season ticket account credentials in our secure platform.

Transfer Tickets to a (Free) Second Team AccountPrefer to keep the tickets in your possession, and limit access to only tickets listed with TiqAssist? You can quickly and easily transfer just the tickets you want to list into a free second team account.

At TiqAssist, we guarantee that all tickets listed will sell – this is our Sale Guarantee.
Tickets listed 21+ days of the event also qualify for our Price Guarantee.
With both guarantees, tickets can be delisted anytime before being sold.
How Price Guarantee Works
- Tickets must be listed at least 21 days before the event to qualify.
- The price is automatically locked 72 hours before the event, guaranteeing you receive that amount even if market prices drop.
- The TiqAssist commission is waived for this sale. Third-party marketplace fees (e.g., Ticketmaster, StubHub, etc.) still apply.
Tickets listed less than 21 days before the event are still covered by our Sale Guarantee. We will sell your tickets at the best price market conditions allow, though they will not qualify for the Price Guarantee.

TiqAssist supports partial or full season ticket packages for the leagues outlined in the table below. “Resale Value Per Game” is calculated using sales and listings data—not season ticket cost. This value is based on the total number of seats in your package and not “per seat.”

You must list your tickets at least 18 hours before the event so we can successfully broadcast them and find a buyer. For new customers, games occurring within 72 hours of registration won’t appear in your dashboard to ensure a seamless onboarding process.

TiqAssist lists your tickets on all the major resale marketplaces, including StubHub, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, VividSeats, Gametime, TickPick, and other broker networks.
No single marketplace accounts for more than 30% of sales. Our sales are spread across multiple platforms ensuring your tickets reach the broadest audience possible. This diversified approach gives your tickets 4–5x more visibility compared to listing on a single marketplace.

Payments are initiated on the first Tuesday after the event and will arrive in your bank account up to three business days later.

Yes! We handle playoff ticket sales for all of our supported leagues. When your team’s playoff season approaches, go to your ‘Account’ section, select ‘Playoff Tickets,’ and follow the prompts.

You can monitor the real-time pricing of your tickets in your TiqAssist dashboard, and you can quickly delist tickets as you please.
We guide our season ticket holder clients to think of their season ticket resale performance like a stock portfolio, meaning it looks at the overall sales across the season. Some games will sell for less than you’d think due to various market-related factors (read our BLOG article for more detailed information), and others will go for more than expected.

TiqAssist and other online marketplaces are required by the IRS to issue a Form 1099-K for all sellers who receive gross payments above the reporting thresholds.
In order to generate a complete Form 1099-K as required by state and federal tax laws, we’ll need your name, address, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Your TIN is typically your Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN) for businesses.
To comply with federal and state regulations, we collect your TIN before we make any payments. We will ask you to submit this information in our app after your first listing to ensure that payments are not delayed.

You will receive a 1099-K form from TiqAssist only if you exceed the reporting thresholds. The reporting thresholds for 2022 and 2023 were $20,000 in gross payments from 200 or more payments. In 2024, the threshold will be $5000 in gross payments, and starting in 2025, the threshold will be reduced to $600.

If you are not a U.S. citizen or resident, you may not be subject to reporting or withholding requirements. However, TiqAssist is required to verify your non-U.S. status to comply with IRS regulations.
If this applies to you, you are required to fill out a W-8 form to certify this information. Once you indicate that you are a nonresident alien in the Tax Information section of our app, TiqAssist will arrange for an electronic version of the W-8 form to be sent to you for completion. -
Currently, the TiqAssist app is only available on the App Store. Until we are available in Google Play, we are committed to providing the best possible user experience for all our users, regardless of their platform.

You can easily list or delist tickets in your TiqAssist dashboard until the tickets sell.

All data submitted with the TiqAssist application is encrypted while in transit. In addition, we encrypt your team credentials before storing them in our database. We do not share any data with 3rd parties for promotional purposes. The security of your season ticket account is our top priority.

We currently do not support parking. The good news is that parking is relatively easy for you to sell through your team account, given how parking passes are easier to price and sell.

List as early as possible to maximize your resale value, ideally at the schedule release. As the event approaches, supply tends to build up, leading to a steadily decreasing resale value on average. For information and advice, visit our blog.

After you have received your TiqAssist Dashboard, please contact us at support@tiqassist.com with information on the games included in your partial season ticket package and we will update your dashboard accordingly.

Our technology is always improving but currently we only support one email address per account. However, we have clients that have secondary partner’s login by doing the following:
- Go to app.tiqassist.com and enter the [primary user’s email address]
- Enter the code that is emailed to [primary user]
You may want to give [primary user] a heads up before starting step 1, as the code expires within minutes. As long as you login every 30 days, you shouldn’t need to login again from that particular device.

We do not purchase season ticket packages, but many clients list their entire season at the schedule release when prices are the highest. Therefore, we may sell most of your season quicker than you can find a buyer for your entire season.
After joining TiqAssist, you can email/text that you want to sell your entire season (or list the various games via your TiqAssist dashboard). It’s just that simple!

We currently do not purchase seat licenses. However, many clients decide to hold on to their seat license and list their entire season at the schedule release when prices are the highest.
Selling seat licenses is a lengthy process and often unsuccessful. Therefore, selling all your tickets for the season and putting your seat license up for the following season may be your best strategy.
